California Lightworks Showcasing MegaDrive® Technology at CannaTech Expo

2022 New Jersey CannaTech Expo the largest cannabis business expo in the East

CANOGA PARK, Calif.—As the Tri-State area continues to expand its cannabis industry and modernize its regulatory infrastructure, thousands of industry professionals are flocking to the 2022 New Jersey CannaTech Expo, the largest cannabis business expo in the East. The event holds over 40,000 square feet of the top cannabis industry suppliers exhibiting the latest in cultivation and processing technologies.

The event will feature dozens of seminars led by industry experts covering licensing, production, banking, hiring and more. The event’s full access tickets include a networking event at 6:00 pm on October 11 for professionals to connect with others.

California LightWorks will be exhibiting the MegaDrive® LED grow lighting system at Booth 306.

“Tremendous strides have been made in regulatory frameworks at the State level, so it is an exciting time for us at California Lightworks to join the upcoming CannaTech Expo in New Jersey,” said California Lightworks CEO George Mekhtarian. “Our MegaDrive LED lighting technology offers cultivators the opportunity to not only modernize their lighting systems to reduce costs and strains on business operations, but the opportunity to improve their environmental impact and carbon footprint.”

Mekhtarian pointed to the recent developments with the SAFE Banking Act’s likely passage in the Senate as encouraging to the industry and cultivators, particularly for businesses to modernize their practices.

“The lack of banking regulatory reform has not only harmed businesses in terms of robberies and lack of access to capital and fair banking, it has negatively impacted our environment. With the potential passage and signing of the SAFE Banking Act, we will see businesses gain access to capital needed to modernize their technology and lighting systems,” added Mekhtarian.

“We are looking forward to meeting with industry professionals and leaders to continue expanding our mission to provide the best lighting systems for businesses and our planet,” concluded Mekhtarian.
