California Lightworks Exhibiting at Cannabis Conference 2022
CANOGA PARK, Calif.—California Lightworks announced Friday they will be attending the Cannabis Conference 2022.
California Lightworks CEO George Mekhtarian, a former Silicon Valley engineer who started his company to develop LED lighting systems for cultivators, says that LEDs can play a pivotal role in combatting the climate crisis and the economic strains on cultivators as markets struggle amid inflation, regulatory burdens and more.
“The climate crisis is creating an economic and market crisis for cultivators and the strain of the current regulatory is impeding companies from access to capital that would allow them to modernize their technology,” said Mekhtarian. “Programs are available that companies can take advantage of to not only improve their cultivation, but ease the strain on our energy grid, and improve our climate impact across the industry.”
“We are looking forward to showcasing our advanced MegaDrive LED system at the Cannabis Conference,” added Mekhtarian.
The Cannabis Conference will be held Aug. 23-25 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The conference is the only industry conference dedicated exclusively to plant-touching cannabis and hemp businesses. The event has attained a reputation for delivering the highest level of education to thousands across the industry including cultivation, dispensaries and extraction professionals.
