The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website, as well as all transactions conducted on or off our site.
PayPal is our preferred payment method. We are verified with PayPal and are in full compliance with their customer protection policy. When making a purchase online, our interactive shopping cart will direct you to PayPal to complete the transaction. You do not need a PayPal account to complete the transaction. If you prefer to not use a PayPal account, you can choose the “Don’t have a PayPal account?” option and simply use a major credit card to complete your transaction. We also accept credit card orders over the phone, and cashiers checks/money orders. If paying with cashiers check or money order, please contact us via email.
All products are shipped in discrete cardboard boxes to the address you provide during checkout. Items normally ship within 2-5 business days of receiving payment and are generally received within 7-14 days of placing your order. On some rare occasions, products can take a maximum of 2 weeks to ship, depending on our inventory. A proper form of identification may be required to complete delivery of your order. If for any reason a product is not ready to ship within one week, you will be notified. We currently only ship to the contiguous United States. If you are outside of this area, or located in another country, please contact us to arrange special shipping.
All our products come with a 90-Day Money Back Guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your results within 90 days of receiving your product, you can return your lights for a 100% refund of the price you paid less the original shipping cost. All we require a brief explanation in writing for the reason you’re not satisfied via email or USPS mail. The refund will be processed via the same method used for payment within 48 hours of receiving the returned merchandise. Return merchandise must be in as-new condition, in original packaging, with the appropriate power cord and hanging hardware. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer.
If you qualified for and agreed to participate in our SolarStorm Grower Feedback Program (GFP), then in addition to the above 90 Day Money Back guarantee terms and conditions, we will refund all shipping costs provided you have provided proper feedback during your GFP period. Again, all return merchandise must be in as-new condition, in proper packaging, with the appropriate power cord and hanging hardware.
All of our products are under warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (3) years from the date of original purchase. If a defect is determined, MWW Inc. d.b.a. California LightWorks will choose to (1) exchange the defective light with a new light with return shipping paid by MWW Inc, or (2) provide new replacement parts immediately. If the light has been tampered with or it is found that the damage was caused by the customer, there will be a repair fee associated with the return of your product. If it is determined that the product is un-repairable, we will notify you immediately. If the rivets are removed, your warranty becomes null and void. If damage has been caused by abnormal use, neglect (such as dripping water), wrong input voltage, dropping or breaking the light, etc…, the warranty is void. Both shipping and repair costs are covered under warranty during year one. Repair and return shipping are covered during year two. Only repair costs are covered during year three. Warranty coverage is ultimately left to the discretion of MWW Inc. We reserve the right to refuse warranty repair or replacement service to anyone.
MWW Inc, d.b.a. CALIFORNIA LIGHTWORKS warrants the mechanical and electronic components of this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase. Warranty coverage applies to the original owner and to the original product only and is not transferable. If the product shows any defects within this period and that defect is not due to user error or improper use CALIFORNIA LIGHTWORKS shall, at its discretion, either replace or repair the product using suitable new or reconditioned products or parts. In case CALIFORNIA LIGHTWORKS decides to replace the entire product, this limited warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining initial warranty period, i.e. five (5) years from the date of purchase of the original product.
We are aware of NON-AUTHORIZED parties selling COUNTERFEIT California LightWorks products on Amazon®. Regarding this issue, we are alerting our valued customers, retailers, and distributors that we are actively working to resolve it. Please note that California LightWorks will NOT honor its product warranties for any products sold on Amazon® by non-authorized resellers. We recommend that you use caution in buying products from non-authorized resellers as some of these products may cause permanent damage to your safety and health.
