  • The SolarXtreme 250 is one of our easiest to use full-spectrum LED grow lights. Designed especially for grow tents and smaller scale home growing, this low-power grow light system draws just 200 watts with a maximum current of 1.6 amps at 120 volts.

The SolarXtreme series features a COB (chip on board) design and utilizes a direct AC drive, so LED drivers are not needed. This enables high-efficiency LEDs to be used, at a much lower cost than traditional LEDs. Users, therefore, benefit from full-spectrum grow lights that accommodate all stages of plant growth and flowering for many types of indoor plants, vegetables, and flowers. No adjustments are needed during the growing cycle.

Our horticultural LED lights have been developed based on years of research and knowledge of photosynthesis and biological processes. The SolarXtreme 250 represents a convenient innovation in indoor LED grow lights suited for smaller cultivations and users who wish to conserve on power draw.

Best of all, just mount the unit, plug it in, and start growing!

Hands down, the best

I purchased a 250, a 500, and a UVB attachment. Plants responded incredibly well through veg, and now I'm into the second week of flower and willl update this review then. But so far, incredibly impressed!

Bright Light

High quality materials and construction make this the best light on the market. The best grow light isn't free, but it will last you 10 years or more. You might want to order some sunglasses. An old man told me long ago, "buy quality tools and you will only have to buy them once, it will save you money in the long run". 5 star rating.

Buy The Best

Don'twaste your money on Amazon grow lights. I have. The California grow lights are worth the money. My "Hot" Perrier plants are doing fine. Excellet light.

Quality Build

Quality build, solid, bright. I bought this light for Cannabis but have been using it to nurse sick succulents back to health so I can transplant them. Saving up for the next 420 sale so I can buy a 500 series light..

Great light

The light seems to be working very well. It’s just a little bit hotter than a spider farmer light. Overall so far 20 days in I think it’s definitely an excellent light

Started third grow.....

Bought the first light (sx250) from a home improvement store-they delivered to my door. I grew a plant, then another.
I bought a second light (sx250) from a large retailer (delivered to my door again) and put that in the tent and now I watch (with pleasure) the grow, while enjoying my previous efforts.
Thank you Claifornia Lightworks, thanks to your support staff, love the videos Craig, keep doing what your doing.
First time grower here-and the light was the right decision (see second paragraph).

Early Review (Very Early)

My cuttings are very young and I’m being mindful about not using the light full time yet. I do have some outdoor plants that I pulled into my tent. This review is based on that test.

First, the light produces HEAT. Since my tent is 2x2 and wo good heat removal, I will only use the light in the cooler months. Second, the light is smaller than my burple (and weighs less). Thats a bonus for setup and moving. Lastly, the light is incredibly bright and I can barely make enough separation for little cuttings. I will problem solve that in the fall when I start my cold month harvest.

I would buy the light again on principle alone (made in CA). I am anxious to give the light a go in fall when heat wont be a problem.
